We have recently completed a 6.4kWp solar PV system on a property in Salisbury. Due to the fact that this a domestic property with two single phase supply’s DNO approval was required in order to connect a system larger than 16A on just one of those supplies. The client made the decision that he did not wish to install a battery at this stage and therefore selected the market leading Solaredge inverter and optimised control system but with the added addition of a modbus meter which will collect data on the exact energy usage of the property in order to adequately size a battery in the future.
We will be returning to this site in the next few weeks to remove all of the night storage heaters and install a brand new heating system, with radiators throughout connected up the market leading Mitsubishi Ecodan 11kW heat pump.
