We have just completed first fix of a ground and first floor Robbens UFH System. The ground floor is a typical screed UFH system whereby the UFH pipework gets stapled to celotex, the first floor utilizes Robbens market leading Profi Low system which involved screwing 364 castellated panels down to the structural floorboards, the 12mm UFH Pex pipework is then pushed into the panel and a low level gypsum based screed is then pumped on top. This systems works perfectly with air source heat pumps and is far superior to the joisted UFH systems which is commonly used with boilers at a much higher flow temperature.
We are due to return later in the year to connect up a Mitsubishi Ecodan Ultra Quiet 11kW monobloc which will provide the client with an energy efficient heating and hot water system for years to come, along with eligibility for the renewable heat incentive scheme.
