The AES team are working hard on another renovation project in Hythe. We have recently installed other low profile UFH system using the Robbens profi low solution. This system is perfect for the low operating temperatures of an air source heat pump and only increases the finished floor height by 20mm.
We will shortly be returning to site to install a screeded UFH system to the ground floor along with the radiator pipework which will be fed off the UFH manifold in order to achieve room by room control via the Heatmiser Neo control system.
All this will be powered my a Mitsubishi Electric 12kW Split Ecodan system which will be located down the bottom of the garden. As a business we are Fgas certified and therefore have the choice of selecting the correct unit for each individual clients requirements. The benefit of a split ASHP system is that the water plate heat exchanger is located within a boiler inside the house and therefore the heat losses are far lower which is a huge benefit when clients do not wish to / do not have the room, to have the heat pump located right next to the property
If you have either a retrofit or new build project that incorporates either UFH or heat pumps please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team.
