The team have recently completed a 16kw Solar PV system with a 9.7kw Solaredge Energy Bank battery storage system at a local village hall in Hampshire.
The 39 panel system is paired with a 10kw single phase solaredge inverter and 9.7kW battery storage system, has made an immediate impact with the hall now entirely off grid which is great for them and the local community as they have set a clear example to the local neighbourhood reducing their emissions and becoming more self sustainable.
The plan is to switch tariffs to the newly released Octopus Flux which at the time of writing pays around 22 pence per kw for energy exported to the grid. Come winter when solar production levels decrease the battery will then be charged during a cheap overnight rate to protect them from higher daytime charges which are now common place in the ever changing energy market.
